Anyone from Australia who has used their mastercard to buy train tickets on cleartrip
Hi folks,
Is there anyone out there from Australia who has used their mastercard to buy domestic flights and train tickets on the "cleartrip.com" web site ?
If so was your credit card accepted OK ?
Just about to make some bookings and I am nervious about my card !! I have contacted my bank to inform them of my impending purchases and they tell me it "should" be OK.
Many thanks for any help.
Philip

Makemytrip.com is also a booking agent of IRCTC, so that's an option too. However, you may have to incur some extra charge. Also, you need to check up if non-Indians can book from MMT website, as I did not find the rail booking link in their websites meant for US or UAE.
Guest007 - Cleartrip is also an authorised IRCTC agent. See this link (PDF from IRCTC) and look up the section "OTA Scheme (B2C Scheme)". MMT is a comparatively new addition and the PDF is not updated yet
.
Pls see http://news.in.msn.com/business/arti...mentid=1204062 also.
