Ahmedabad-Vizag Connections.

A problem: I need to travel Ahmedabad-Vizag (Friday) on 27th Sept and the direct train runs only on Wednsday. Even ADI-Hyderabad does not run Fridays. (I need to reach Vizag by Monday morning).
One possibility is to take ADi-Mumbai and then Mumbai-Vizag daily. But are there any better possibilities involving ADI-Chennai Navjeevan daily?. I am not familiar with Warangal area to decide which place to get down and which place is better to wait for connections etc (at reasonable hours since I am travelling with family).

##If you miss this, just walk upto APSRTC Complex (**1Km from VZM Rly.Stn.) and take a Bus to Vizag. (Journey time: 60 minutes)

##It is absolutely not a problem to reach Visakhapatnam (Station Code: VSKP) from Vizianagaram (Station Code: VZM).

##By the way, Vizag is a local name which is officially not used either by Airlines or Railways. However, APSRTC uses the name 'VIZAG'.

I guess I can use the same connection to make Vizag-ADI journey as well, though the Puri Exp leaves VZM at 0055 hours.
Is it safe to take APRTC buses at 2 AM?

Yes, you can use the same connection, provided the days of departure ex.VZM suit you. Please look at this:

Is the Vizianagaram Station lively enough at late hours 12 AM-3 AM so that it is safe for families?

##The 8646 East Coast Express passes through Vizianagaram at 1.05 hrs.

##The 2843 ADI Express passes through Vizianagaram at 00.55 hrs.

##The 8645 East Coast Express passes through Vizianagaram at 2.45 hrs.

##The 228 VSKP-Raipur Passenger passes through Vizianagaram at 3.30 hrs.

##I suggest that you purchase through ticket upto Visakhapatnam with resv. upto VZM, and then you can take 8645 East Coast Express which arrives in VSKP at 3.45 hrs. (**This through ticket cannot be obtained through IRCTC on the internet)
