agra to pushkar to udaipur

what is the best way to travel from Agra to Pushkar and from Pushkar to Udaipur. I have a flight from Udaipur to Kerala. Thanks

@@@If my presumption is correct, you must be Indian Airlines Flight from Udaipur to Bombay/Delhi and another flight from Mumbai/Dellhi to Kochi. But if your's is a direct flight, kindly let me have its schedule.

@@@On Friday, 5269 departs from Agra Fort at 16.45 hrs. and reaches Ajmer at 00.25hrs. This is a Fully Unreserved Weekly Train and comes from Muzafarpur and terminates in Ahmedabad, hence not advisable, unless you are otherwise compelled.

From Ajmer you have to necessarily take ONLY ROAD TRANSPORT for going to Udaipur, and ofcourse this Road forms part of National Highway No.8, which starts in New Delhi and goes to Mumbai via Jaipur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Baroda and Surat.

It is possible to do the Agra - Pushkar leg overnight, but you need to be a bit adventurous.

Train 2307 (and 2307A) departs Agra fort daily at 19:55 and gets to Merta Road station at 04:36 (doesn't depart till 05:15), it's an early arrival time, but as the train starts it's journey in Calcutta it may easily be an hour or two late.

2-tier air con = Rs 857
3-tier air con = Rs 561
Sleeper Class = Rs 220 (not air con)

Follow the locals to Merta Town (about 15 kms), either by bus or local train.

Merta Town is about 50 kms from Pushkar on the road to Ajmer, I would imagine there is a bus at least every 2 hours if not more, also, you may like Merta Town.

I have not done this journey and am only saying what I would do; others may think it's not a good idea.

In 2000 I took a train from Ajmer to Udaipur. Does this train not exist anymore? It left in the morning and arrived at about 4:30 pm.

@@But after 2000, the Ajmer-Marwar (140 Kms.) had been converted into Broad Gauge, as it forms part of Ahmedabad-Marwar-Ajmer-Jaipur-Delhi Route.
