AC 3 Tier, Will controlling of AC is in our Hands?

I am Planning to Book AC 3 Tier from Hyderabad to Tirupathi on May1st(tatkal). Journey is Night Journey. Though it is Summer, in the Midnight dute to AC I may feel chilled, Will there be any provision for Increasing AC temperature or switching it off...

No. But you may request the attendant to reduce it. Lot depends on what others complain about. Many cases, if they make it colder, everyone complains & if they make it hotter, everyone complains, what is why they mostly ignore such requests... Typically Indians have the attitude that since they have paid for AC, they want as cold as possible, even if they have shiver under the blankets...

yes, but ironically the ones asking the attendant to increase the ac (meaning making it colder) are the ones ALWAYS well tucked inside the blankets
