1) Is the reservation form for Break Journey same as the Reservation form for Onward Journey?
2) When alighting at the place of Break Journey, what is the procedure to endorse ticket/ Break Journey? |

Hello Mr Mehra,
1.) Yes, the break journey has to be taken by filling the onwards journey section of the reservation form. But, the onwards journey section is also to be used if you are simply taking a connecting train to some destination, without breaking the journey ( Waiting for less than 24 hours between two trains is not considered break journey, but only a connection) 2.)The requirement of endorsing the tickets is only for unreserved tickets. For reserved tickets, you need to intimate the details of the break journey , in the onwards journey details, while performing the reservation itself. You can't break journey at an intermediate stop , after you have booked a direct reserved ticket. Regards Enigma |
