Yummy food in Nainital

Try the Woods Restaurant (Alka Hotel) in Nainital. Excellent food! We ate here twice while in Nainital. Though both times we were the only customers and had to ask the waiter to please turn down the thumping, repetitive music. It took several minutes for them to respond (India time, you know…), but they did, and we ate well. Very clean.

For us (Me & my wife) it was the best restaurant in Nainital during our uttarnachal tour in Feb 05.

I don't remember the name of the Restaurant but surely it was in Alka Hotel where we had the best dinner in Nainital in Oct'85.

It has to be the same restaurant. Interiors must have changed by now.

yes alka has an excellent facility for lodging too i take the room facing the naini lake which has a bed attached to the window overlooking the lake !!!!
and wake up at the gong from the bell of the nania devi temple !!!!

hmmmm now how will i b able to sleep in my mumbai bedroom shall only toss and turn at the thought !!!!
