Dairy Milk is amazing... sitting under glass in +35 Celcius weather, it somehow *still* doesn't melt in the wrapper. The other brands taste like wax to me in comparison... perhaps because they're designed to sit under glass in a +45 Celcius heat explosion and still be rock-hard.

Does anyone know ho long 5 Star has been on the market for?

I think it was introduced in either 1969 or 1970.

I could not handle the 'chocolate' but was told by a really nice Finnish guy I went on camel safari with that 'Hide And Seek' biscuits were the best substitute... and I can confirm that he was right... takes some getting used to but soon you will delight in munching them to pass the time on long bus/train journeys.

Speaking of biscuits, Britannia's "Little Hearts" are just great for passing the time on long bus/train journeys !
