Taboo food: Is this for real?

I was watching National Geographic's show Taboo 2nd Season on DVD. The first episode featured an Anglo-Indian woman making Kutti Pi for her friends. It involved her going to market, having none of the meat sellers admiting they had any until the cameras were turned off, having it delievered to her home, cooking it, and serving it up to her friends, some of whom ate it though some refused it. What is kutti pi? Apparently it's goat fetus... which actaully doesn't repulse me any more than eating any other kind of meat. I guess that since I've gotten my mind around the fact that some groups of people eat bugs on purpose nothing surprises me.

I've tried to find information about it online though all I can do is find references to the National Geographic show. I found something at Wikipedia. This is all it says: Kutti pi is a Anglo-Indian dish consisting of a goat fetus. Kutti pi is considered taboo by both Anglos and Indians, though those of Anglo-Indian descent consider it a delicacy, having traditions and customs unique from its parent cultures. The dish is said to possess medicinal qualities, beneficial to pregnant women and those suffering from tuberculosis or back pains.
There are no references given or outside links included.

Has anyone heard of this before? I'm just interested because it's totally new to me, and even though I saw the show the lack of additional resources still hasn't convinced me it's true.
