pizza as never before.

I saw a lot of Pizza outlets in various places in the cities.
When I asked the guy at Bangalore Dominoes, he said they import it straight from America.
Is this the norm, or is it made in India.?

He may well be correct - but, then again he might just have not either known the answer, or understood the question. I'd assume though, that they do not make them there in Bangalore!

That's good to hear, my kids are looking forward to a Chicken Tikka Makhani pizza, how cool is that? I like the sound of the Fiery Chicken but I wonder how hot that'll be (compared to things in England).

Umm, generally- Pizza Hut is better. They have some "tandoori" pizza too with chillies drawn next to it on the menu.

I've been to Dominoes and Pizza Hut here in Chennai. By import, do you mean that they come already put together (like tombstone, red barron). If so, I really doubt that. Some of the ingredients like the cheese, pepperoni and tomato sauce, maybe. The pizza here is nowhere near as good as back home. Pizza hut here is better than Dominos though. At both restaurants, a pepperoni pizza is considered a specialty pizza and is more expensive than most of the other pizzas. From what I remember, a large here is about the size of a small or medium size pizza back in the US.

If anyone is interested in a good burger, I went to Besant Nagar beach for the first time today. There is a place that has some good burgers for a decent price there. I forgot the name, it starts with a P. A double beef patty burger was only 90 rupees with fries.

Good lord, the evil influence of Nick is spreading. Now if you mix a pizza and a violin?

I don't actually eat pizza, I figure it's best not to make more money for them, but, Chicken tikka pizza is a bit like tandoori spaghetti I think. Don't know if it's such a great idea.
These things come down to personal taste every time.

For good hand tossed Pizzas baked on wood fire visit Bacci an Italian restaurant in Sundernagar, Delhi. Their mushroom pizza has different varities of mushrooms including meaty flavoured wild mushrooms.

Tandoori Spaghetti doesn't sound so appealing, I just thought it would be a safe introduction to the country for the kids (for day 1 only). In the UK they do a Tandoori Chicken pizza at Dominos and that's quite nice.

Perhaps I need to find another restaurant in Karol Bagh...I'll start searching.
