Never hear of anything called mustard dal.

Do you mean cooking dal(moong/masoor/whatever) and using mustard as a "chownk"/seasoning?

solved

Oh, dear...
Yesterday I went back to the shop where I have bought this "mustard dal". I just told that it tastes very bad and the shopkeeper gave the money back without even a twinkle... He said this is actually mustard, not dal... .. So, my curiosity was once more misleading... I thought this must be a very special dal...hihi..(Vastrapur, you have the right link, it looked exactly like that) So instead, I bought some common rajma dal, which I love to eat ... Thanks for your efforts. I feel a bit stupid after all.. So the topic is closed and the confusion is solved. Thanks...
