Did you try the mekhania lassi in Jodhpur?
It's a kind of saffron lassi, the best lassi I had in India, absolutely fabulous. They serve it in "Agra sweet home" a small inconspicuous place opposite the Sojati gate. I always had two when I went there.

Yum!
I had a mekhania lassi in Jaisalmer, and it was absolutely sublime. But I hear that if a mekhania isn't made just right, it can taste a bit soapy.

Had the Mekhania Lassi at both of the above places. Would rate as the taste treat sensation of all India.
