Hi, You may want to try shifting away from refined carbs such as flour based processed foods and cereals(including breads, biscuits and pastries) to homemade cereals and complex carbs which are found in whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables. This makes your blood sugar level to raise slowly and fall slowly, so that your body is able to better utilise the insulin or meds you take for diabetes. Better yet, talk to a certified nutritionist as you are a diabetic and a lot of foods can't be eaten by you.
