Now that people have posted with real statistics, DD', I hope you will no longer doubt, but rather enjoy the fact that this a major wealth creation exercise!

And my only addiction is chai. I try to be careful, and to be guided by Mrs N, but once TDS (Tea Deficiency Syndrome) cuts in, I just have to have it --- however unwashed the tea-stall glasses may look!

Now here is an interesting example of spelling Hindi (or whatever Indian language) in English. I'm sure you're not talking about a monkey who chats with you And so often it is hard to spell these things using the English alphabet. Four forms of D, four forms of T, two forms of G, two of K, no difference between V and W, and the vowels don't go naturally into English. Isn't language fun (really)

pretty sure they're both artificial dyes (coloring) but authentically, the color is supposed to be a result of adding saffron in the mix - of course with a tiny bottle of it going for over 12 dollars, there's little chance of it being used as the coloring agent, but some places that mix a bit of saffron in jilebis really do get it right - some place in delhi comes to mind but i was really young then.

and speaking of being addicted - poona is the one place where i've had the greatest bhel... yes, it was at a roadside stall and no, i didn't get sick - in fact i think my immune system really got a lot stronger after that trip
