Fruit wines in Shimla: any info/ worth buying?

Hi guys,
I'm walking along the Mall Road in Shimla and I've come across a wine shop selling fruit wines e.g pear apple peach plum etc. And then there is another shop who sells 'authentic' Himachal Pradesh apple wine. I need some help from the wine connoisseurs on indiamike. :-)

Does anyone have any experience with them? Are they any good and worth buying?
Thanks in advance... :-)

The ones I picked up from Kullu, Plum and Orange wine, tested like its been fortified with spirit, hated the taste.

On the other hand apple cider was nice

Taste it for yourself before buying.

Cheers

One of my friend is a fan of Apple wine. If you want to buy sweaters, shawls buy it from Kullu as it cheaper there than other places.

One of my friends returned from Manali on the 20th of April. A shopkeeper in Manali suggested him to buy stuff from Kullu as it would be cheaper there. He had a factory in Kullu.
