Chennai Dosa Delivery?
Hi all,
I'd really like to try out the dosa's at Chennai Dosa in Manor Park but was wondering if anyone had tried their delivery service and if so, how did their dosa's arrive? I cant imagine how they would deliver it and prevent it from going soggy and soft ! Does anyone know the answer? Thanks IndianFlower |

I won't ask for your precise location in open forum, but if you are not within a few minutes I wouldn't bother --- go there to try it!
I think dosas have to be eaten right from the kitchen!

If you really want to have a dosa / any type get to
1. Saravana bhavan ( there are several in Chennai ) 2. Dosa Corner in Amaravathy hotel ( TTK Road ) 3. Banana Leaf, Indira Nagar 4. Midnight Express ( TTK road ) for Beef Dosa They r yummy. If you order for dosa, and wait for it to get it you, the crispyness will go away - and the dosa will get soggy by the time it gets to you. |

A 'shipped' dosa is a wasted dosa. Go to any nearby fastfood hotel, grab one and
enjoy it. If you want to eat two, don't get two at once, ask them to deliver the second after 10 minutes so that it's hot. I disagree with LonelyAztec in that you don't have to go to an upscale restaurents for good taste. Any nearest restaurent is good one. If you ever go to Bangalore, there are what are called 'Darshini' hotels spread all over, at every 500 feet which serve fantastic dosa all the time. I've liked 'Set Dosa' and 'Mentheya dosa'. Simply delicious. And, always, ask for more chutney. I eat one dosa but drink 4 small doses of chutney. Ah, the taste still lingers on my tongue. |
