At some point I'd like to organize a world-wide IM meet-up "contest"

All the meet-up areas sign on to participate, choose a month (or whatever everyone decides is fair) and post your meet-up picture.

We'll let the IM world decide on:

Who gets the award for the most people who, have spent the most time in India...PIO's, travellers, everyone!

" for the youngest/oldest group, by the average ages showing up for the group shot.

" for the group who has actually been to the most states in India

OK...you get the idea........

Looks like I have to make a trip to that part of the US, arriving 5th OCT early and leaving 8th early, and any one of those afternoons would great!

Would love to meet all those sophisticated CA IMers, whos posts I read here in awed

silence (being the redneck - albeit Desi- that I am)!

Dzibead and WW-USA have said they could find the time...

Depending what is convenient for every one, I have cousins in Fremont, San Jose and SFO Bay Area, I'll try to stay close to the meet up point once decided.

Look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!

Although we've been discussing Afghan food, I wonder if we shouldn't go to Saravana Bhavan (site of the last and tiny meetup) for South Indian food. It's crowded but very inexpensive and the food's great.
