I hope so! When shall we have the first one then? This weekend is a bit short notice, and I'll be watching the Monaco Grand Prix, so how about a preliminary meet-up the following weekend. What's best for people: Saturday 31 May, or Sunday 1 June; afternoon, or evening? Where should we meet: somewhere central I guess! So, IndiaMike Puneites let's discuss where, and when, the first Pune meet-up should be held.

So....... any chance of a Pune meet up at the end of October/beginning of November?

The Little People and I will be around from October 24 until the 1st.

Cheers!

Its the best time of the year with all the festival mood. With slightly hot in October also the perfect excuse for that beer or whatever (cold) is your drug.

One of the other options could be to do something in and around Lonavla, thats a good place.

I like your thinking, Jivan! I was actually looking at going to Lonavala for the weekend before Diwali. If we could round up a posse (!) it might be a really fun experience.

BTW, have you any idea what might be going on around Pune for Diwali?

Cheers!

If the LP (little people) like crackers and stuff, then this is the thing for you. Also the idea of a posse for Lonavla is cool as well

One just have to be aware of the rangers in the South other than everything else is cool (/me kidding)

Hey Haze,
My mom is a champ at bargaining while buying fire crackers, if we can manage it we could go probably shop for them at the same time.

I'm off to Kerala this Divali, so obviously I won't be around Pune. Have fun if you do have a meet up though!

Mr. Kit-Cat

That is an offer I simply cannot refuse! I look forward to meeting your mum and learning a thing to two from her. I am not well known as a champion bargainer.
