Wait for me folks!! I can probably make the 14th with my wife who as also been to India once (kerala) i have been 4 times once kerala thrice himalayas the only problem is we have to be back in Leeds fairly early to collect our daughter from her friends. So i don't want to kybosh your plans but we were wondering if we could meet you earlier say about 7pm?? Also if we can meet earlier what's the chances of getting into the theme of things & meeting @ a indian restaurant there are lots in Harrogate that i have never tried. Like i say i am not trying to alter your plans & will still try to make it if you want to stick to the original plan but we will not be able to stay as long. What do you both think?? kk

Really sorry about this, but I forgot about a prior arrangement for 14th (got tickets to see Col.Tim Collins at the Ilkley Literature Festival and forgot to write it in my diary!). Is it possible that we could re-arrange it - or if not, arrange another one, too?

Ok lets say 22nd of Oct 6.30pm at the slug I know a very good curry house where we can get a bit to eat, I am not changing it again guys so put it your dairys,PDA, laptops ect.

22nd October it is, then! safely written in the diary ... which is sacred, nothing gets changed from there! I'm really looking forward to it - and the food sounds a good idea, too.

Ian, my husband, will be coming along too. He's also been to India, and went to school there for a couple of years when he was a child, as his father was seconded from ICi to Bihar to commission India's first fertilizer factory there.

Looking forward to meeting everyone (well, anyone really!)

Hi again, o.k. 22nd 6.30 slug my wife can't make that date so its just me how will we know each other? i'm not wearing a white carnation or a red silk neckercheif for indentification purposes!!! kk
