Question How does Thursday sound?

I must leave for Argentina on Sunday. Thursday is best for me.

OK with you?

NeeliAnkhen (member) is working 'til 8:30, but she might be free.

I will PM her and ask.

R.

If you meet Thursday I'll try to come - I can't leave my office until about 8:30. I'm near Union Square so if it's anywhere near there I'll get there sooner. I'll hope to stop by wherever it is.
If it's on 10th Ave in the 40s - realistically, it will take me about 45 minutes I guess as those crosstown blocks are long!!

Post Thursday

Yeah, both I and my girlfriend Alicia are on for tom'w. We can meet anywhere in the city after 2:00 PM , but the East side is better for us.

Hallo Berlin sounds good, but it is far from Neeli who is working at Union Square and doesn't get out until 8:30. She's also told me she's free from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, which is more like dinner time for me! And drinks sound like a good idea too!

I'll check this thread tom'w (Thursday) around noon.

Hope we can all meetup!

Pick a place centrally then ? Hell's Kitchen is more diverse and inexpensive food & beverage wise; and close to Port Authority.

Four of us met at Dos Caminos on Thursday for drinks. Dos Caminos @ Park Ave, boast of over 140+ Tequilas in their bar. However the Soho location is not that hugh.

Rajiveanand is airborne now, on his way to EZE, for a two month trek all across Argentina. We talked mostly about argentina and buenos aires neighborhoods, the food scene, (given mark sanford's breaking scandal and admission the day earlier) and shopping.

We met @ Union Sq. and walked up to Houston/WBwy via Washington Square park, and decided to sit outside and order frozen margaritas and a guacamole dip. To suppliment the medium spicy dip; the waitstaff brought us some chopped pepper on the side. NeeliAkhen joined us for a while and we briefly discussed the state of the mental health profession in NYC.

Two frozen margaritas and a shot of Ozo Azul later we walked back to the Washington Square park before going our separate ways.

Hi All - please let me know if a get-together is imminent. I am wrapped up in making plans for India @ Durga Puja and not checking the forum that much.

Dang - I'd love to hook up. Really enjoyed last get-together. But I'm on the 6:10 flight to Delhi tomorrow evening. What to do? See you all in the Fall?
Cheers,
Keshav
