I'll have to send my regrets. As I mentioned in a previous post, my wife is in the hospital awaiting surgery on Staten Island and I really should stay over here. Hoping to meet you all someday!

I would like to strongly suggest that you try a great new (since Nov) Indian restaurant in Queens, Southern Spice.

Thanks so much, especially to Rajiv, for making an effort to make sure I knew about this even though I haven't been around here lately. Great meeting, every person was/is someone I was glad to meet, I hope for more.

And I like that place, too!

I don't think they had pani puri, someone else can tell you, though the puris/pooris were very good especially for a buffet!!

They did have the pani puris off to the side of the buffet. I didn't try them. The chaat was excellent though according to the wife.

Been out of town till tonight. But yes - had a great time. It's pretty damned amazing to meet up with a bunch of folks one has never met in the flesh and to enjoy such an instant rapport. I ate the equivalent of two large meals - something I only do when I'm really happy. Good company is the worlds best appetite stimulant. I forgot to bring a cameral but took picture with my new fancy-schmancy touch screen phone - but I many need a team of IT people to help me get the danged photos uploaded. Tho Kyra says she thinks she knows how to do it.

Hi All - could not upload photos and finally found that there was a text block on my new account. This snap was taken with the new camera phone and rez is mighty low - but you can still tell - we were having fun.
