Just caught up with the reports and the pictures. Almost as good as being there

Which reminds me... Janice, next time I want to see a peacock on that table !

Really enjoyed all the pics, especially Merchant's 'pro' portrait shots. Brilliant stuff.

And I cannot get over the thick clothes you guys are wearing!!!

And this was, I think, before the really bad weather hit New York? Brrrrr

Nick, the temperature that day was more or less on par with what we've had for the past couple of weeks (around -5 to 0 C), but we didn't get the ice and snow until a few days later. Not that we got that much ice and snow, compared to years past, but it doesn't take much to turn the streets and sidewalks in to vast lakes of black slush.
