The food was good. First time I've had goat in quite a while. I'd definitely have it again.
It was very nice to meet everyone, and special thanks to nadreg for his stealthy bill-paying. Now everyone go click on some ads. Oh, and it was pretty chilly. I'm enjoying it while I can... looking forward to some 45* days in a couple months time. ![]() |

merchant, thanks for getting the pix up so fast!
what a lovely meet, vastly exceeding the virtual - which is pretty darn good in its own right. i enjoyed meeting everyone, especially so close to my now-imminent departure. more pix possibly on the way....how? this techno-saur struggles again, which doesn't bode well for trip-pix, now does it? the message is that my files are too big. help anyone?

Resize the pictures with whatever program you prefer - even the Paint program that comes with Windows should suffice. Merchant's are 640 x 427 (pixels).

Open the picture in Paint. Go to "Image" and then select "Stretch/Skew." In the stretch fields, try reducing them to 25% of their original size. Not sure how big your pics are to start out with, but this should get you somewhere close to a reasonable size.

janice, whatever photo software your computer has, there should be a function that says "resize image" or something similar, then you can pick the size, like 500X500, etc.

Resizing usually means just that Mach, better programs compress the file without altering the dimensions!!
Now don't get Merchant started about picture resolution!! Nice Shots by the way!! Quite a looker Janice!! Am I allowed to say that.................no probably not, I knew I'd get myself banned one day ![]() |
