Bhai Shashank had a place in mind which he told me during the last meet up.
25th. is a working day so meeting early may not be possible.

Oh..one should not delay the plans for the meetup..

There is a bar in Karol Bagh Gymkhana Club, which is right Opposite Hotel Jaypee Siddartha, its located 2 minute walking distance from Rajendra Place metro station..CP is hardly 4-5 Kilometers..

Since it a club, they have a Rs.30 charge for guests, it gets added to the bill, however I never mind paying that...Its less than half the price what Volga Charges, and the best part is there is no tax or service charge..you pay the rate that is there on the menu..

Dada, its Rs.20 flat for a 30ML Old Monk, when compared to Rs.45 + tax + service charge that Volga charges. I will try to make some special arrangements with them.

PS : I volunteer to pick anyone who may find it difficult to reach anyplace place other than CP, otherwise Delhi Metro has a direct connection to the place from CP and other parts..

You guys are fast in the replies! This sounds pretty good to me, and maybe closer to the time, Shashank you give clear directions where we walk from Rajendra Nagar metro station to this place. The other question though is, one of the people with me is the son of members and he is around 13 I think. Will he be allowed inside? Can children go here with their parents?

When you get down at the Rajendra Place metro station, come down on the same side of the road as the platform on which you landed. Walk in the same direction as the traffic and take the first left turn (Just before the round about) and its the third or fourth building. Its a non commercial place, with no shops, hawkers or anything. You will see a small board reading Karol Bagh Gymkana and an illuminated board that says SOUL

Yes of course they can..the law only says that drinks won't be served to anyone below 25 years of age...and its a restaurant not a bar in western sense. Its a restaurant that serves alcohol..

LOL, Captain Mahajan! Shashank this sounds a really good place for the Meet Up so I think we might settle on it. Easy to get to as well.

Hey there - that's me with the 13yo, would love to come if that's OK with all - posting from Jaipur - Jas Vilas, what a lovely peaceful place (the hotel not Jaipur - you could never use the word peaceful!) onwards to Agra and then to Delhi tomorrow, staying in Paharganj. PM me for mob number so you can text about meetup, Aishah has it anyway ... and I will try to log on when I get there to check up on details - 25th is good, how exciting!.
