New Delhi Meetups

So Vinay will you start a Gurgaon chapter or let be Delhi only for old time's sake?

Jyoti-da, Not sure if we have many IMer from Gurgaon and if they are interested in meetups. I'm more or less certain that travellers won't like to come all the way to Gurgaon for just a meetup. So I guess Delhi would remain the meetup capital and so I would drive for the Delhi IM meetups, if I can.

Vinay what is this "if I can" stuff. How can we have a meet up with out you? So dont ever write such thing.

Jyoti-da: after making numerous trips to Gurgaon in last few weeks, I'm with few IMer there who could not make it to meetups. It is a long drive and no late nights at all. Wish I had my office still in delhi but I've moved that too to Gurgaon, so I can even have one like 'on the way back home' kinda stuff. So me being bit practical here, I'll have to say 'if I can'. but I'll try my best to be at all IM Meetups in Delhi and to IMers (Locals or traveling) you all are welcome to drop in even if it is unnounced.

PS: Jyoti-da wanted to classify the last IM meetup as my farewell meetup but I beleive and I think (as I think most us do so), I'm not leaving.

Yes ofcourse you can join, you are welcome. How we know each other? First here in this forum & then during the meet ups.
Meet ups do take place in other cities too. Going by the posts here I think the Delhi gang is most active when it comes to meet ups!

Has the Delhi metro reached Amsterdam yet

Okay finally back online after few days.
Shifting to Gurgaon is complete and discoverng Gurgaon. Haven't found 'my pub' yet in Gurgaon but haven't been going around much.
BTW when isthe next Gurgaon IM meetup? can I join you guys? Where do you all meet?
Looking forward to Next Gurgaon IM meetup, it would also help me with tips about Gurgaon to help me settle in faster.

Hi Guys..I am a new soul around here..I stay in Ghaziabad..drive through Delhi to work in Gurgaon..would love to join the meetup..either in delhi or Gurgaon..

Jyoti-da, Pandara Road is not the same as it was earlier. When I took you there its days were already numbered. Till 6 months back it used to be an easy, cool place and noone bothered noone. Now with more security and few greedy cops posted there, its not the same.
Thankfully the food quality has remained the same and its still a good place to have a quick, cheap Indian Dhaba style food right in the center of Delhi.
Wish I could move it to Gurgaon with me leaving all behind that got attached to it due to it being in a high security zone.
I might be in Delhi this Saturday evening, maybe one more trip to lovely Pandara Road, but would need to start bit earlier than normal days.
Let me know how are you placed on Saturday.
