Hi Jyotirmoy

Nice to hear from you.

I fell ill today and doctor said "no travel", bed rest.

So, I had to cancel the Delhi trip for now - will be June.

Thanks for sharing your experiences.Never heard any experiences like those.I had many many meetings there but in afternoon/evening and never felt any discomfort, may be it's a sheer luck but again there is no dearth of places in Delhi which turns different after dark.

Ok we(Roushan plus few of his friends) had a nice meet at Kunzum Travel cafe(Hauz Khas Village) yesterday and met organizer of a trekking expedition. There were some nice upcoming trekking plans she had.

So hopefully we would be meeting on weekend again so anyone intrested can drop in.For someone who doesn't know, Hauz Khas Village is a very nice green place to spend weekends in various travel cafes or wander around the old monuments/deer park and lake.

Yes the lake, actualy It was the Royal Tank (Hauz-e-Khas)and area around it was so inclined that all the water falling in catchment area (jungle that time) would be harvested there.

BTW is DDA pumping water in it, to make it a lake.

You are right right, I heard about the lake to be filled with water, not sure since I didn't check it,anyone knows? The latest I heard was that the deers are getting a lot and more space is needed. If DDA didn't take action then deers would be relocated. That would be bad since the 200 odd deers are a good attraction there.
More land needed for deer at Hauz Khas park

We can organize a meetup, if you see in my last post we have few plans for trekking to discuss.

How about Hauz Khas Village/Dilli Haat as a venue this sat/sun 5 PM onwards? You can suggest a place as well.

Oh the lake is full and lovely...I must say that the place and the landscaping is beautiful. As it is walking distance from my place spending evenings there is one of the best things I indulge in when in Dilli

This Sunday 10th?

Short notice I know, but I'm arriving Delhi from Chennai on Sunday morning for a couple of days. Anyone free to meet Sunday afternoon/evening? Staying Paharganj.
It's all part of the adventure of travelling!
