Hi - well everyone seems to be coping with the (sad) loss of IM for a week but hey something better!.
Anyway we (myself, Angela and 2 kids) should be in Delhi on the 3rd before moving off on the 4th. So. heres looking forward to meeting everyone and hopefully getting some ideas for the following 4-5 weeks.
I will send e-mail contact to Radz as noted in earlier posts.
Does anyone know of some other site etc that could be used as a temporary measure for ease of contact - of course coming back to IM when available ??

Great Ashish, you are doing a great job, I'm sure you and Radz have all the email ids.
Good point by Fluidic Space and Volga, what to do if someone visits IM when its down? can we move our discussions to someother site just for this meetup and post here the link???
How about Virtual Tourist? they have a seperate section for meetups.
or email is fine?
Lets discuss this before we do it.

I'm happy with the arrangements as they stand at the moment - I've got Ashish's and other Delhi members phone numbers and emails.

As long as we stick to the venue, date and time I don't see what possibly can go wrong, except of course if Cafe Coffee Day has gone out of business or burnt down, in which case we can all go somewhere else

At the moment it looks like there may be 10-15 people so we may have to shift some furniture around!

IM Delhi meet up at Cafe Coffee Day on 3rd August at 6pm

Anyone else going to be there?

Dear All, Please don't be bothered with the numbers, your Delhi Hosts are capable of shifting furniture or the place should that be required..and we will be happy doing so

Yes we had a Great meetup with some of the legendary figures on IM..
and glad that Bija could make it for this meetup..and not to forget old friend of Delhi chapter of IM...Freemanx..yes he was there too...
it would be good if we hear more from our guests than us about the meeting.

and it was a pleasure meeting some of you old indiahands too.
even if it was just for a short time.
after everyone else left it was again Ashish, Vinay and me who carryed on for a bit longer. we went to defense collony for some liquid and talks and again it was one of those nights one would wish never to end.
