ok guys...now that its not possible for me to be at Nik's place on 18th how about another meet up on 31st July. M arriving Delhi on 31st morning and a warm welcome will be so appreciated..lol

Nikhil - I too will be coming from the airport, but first need to check in to the hotel in Golf Links. Don't want them to give away our room. I have these visions of being stranded with 2 kids so don't want to take a chance & wait till night time post-meetup to check in.

So far, I'm still at most probably in the cannot make it column

Pity b/c next time I'm going to Mumbai, so maybe next yr I'll get to meet you all in Delhi.

Once you are at Golf links its not that far.. so do try to make it! Bring the kids along if you like .. they can plonk down in front of the TV if they like or just go Online or something?

Namaste_Cat, I seriously do not think kids would be a problem. This is not supposed to be a very matured peoples gathering, anyone and everyone is welcome. And we had kids and toddlers of all ages in these gatherings, they generally end up having a new perspective on India and their travels.

secondly, if you can share what time your flight is landing, I might give you a ride from a central location.

C;mmon dude, thats as close to Preet Vihar as you can get. And just imagine the kind of bills you pay in Bars and all, and this is BYOB, you will be saving some money, if a ride is arranged then good, or else you can always Dial a cab.

Akshardham is like 2 km from my house. So you can drop in after the show. I am sure you are biking here so all you need to do is stay under the 2 drink limit. You can sip club soda after that. If you aren't biking then the cost differential is minimal since you travel just 2 more km
