New Delhi Meetups

Well, since we are just ariving shortly before the meet, we would need the help from Delhi members who know CP and places to meet, otherwise only option seems to be having a look around once we get there and than anounce the place. But since i will arive in the morning of 11th it might be too shortnoticed.

So, Delhi members, help

I believe Volga Bar in CP has been a place used earlier for a meetup....maybe that could work....

hi guys... i missed the meet. got stuck in Road Jam at panipat. enroute chandigarh to delhi.. though i had confirmed that i will be joining. sorry about this. i am not going to miss the next one whatever date it may be and whatever time provided its before 16th because 16th night i am driving to Leh. cheers.

I am new to IndiaMike and soon to be new to Delhi as I arrive mid July. Would love to come along and meet people as this site has been such a wonderful resource for me and a great idea. Will there be a meet up end of July or August time?

Yes - good way to spend part of the evening {at least for me }. Unfortunately since I left early as planned, missed Mrs. P. But who is Indiaworker that Ashish mentions in his psot at #2241? Since it was my first IM meetup, all were new to me; and visce versa. Any news from Manzey - how he fared getting back? Not from Wazirpur, I hope !!!

Re meet up in Paharganj/CP; anyone been to a place called Three Cheers? It's in Tolstoy Lane at the back of the building which houses Janpath's Pizza Hut.

I was able to find my way with out any problems at all. Thanks to Ashish! It was really nice meeting all of you. Thanks for the great meet. I really enjoyed it all (good company / beer / food ). Now I can put a face to the names...

Never heard about it !! and somehow I am not able to recall the Pizza hut you are talking about. Is it the one near Sarvana Bhawan ?

Anyhow, the main criteria for choosing a venue is price of beer in summers and of rum in winters.., so if they are decent, then we can jump on there was well, but yes, we also have to check out the Beer Garden, and that too in absence of Puchoos.

No idea what the prices of rum and beer are at Three Cheers - will try and case the joint out, check prices (tho I'm a teetotaller) and will let you know when I've been there.
