Great...so we are all set for tomorrow's meetup.
Indianworker: yes you can take a rickshaw from KarolBagh and they'll know about Khan market (if they don't then tell its near India Gate/Pandara Road/UPSC). otherwise, you have my number, give me a call.
Mikki: we'll have one when you are here. Welcome to India.
Soulfood: Will be great if you can make it, yes I know its a short notice but next weekend was too far. In the past we've seen meetups organised weeks in advance normaly do not live up to everyones expectations. Well, we can have a meetup next week too

I'm wondering where are the 'Regulars' of IM Delhi meetups? Ashish, Radz, sggal, soulstation (can you make it this time), DaDrifter.....
and newbies? Kaushiks, Ullas, ..and others from Delhi?????

Last minute gatecrashing is welcome, if you read it you are in, but will help in organising a bit if you can tell us in advance.

hi friends...i would also like to join you people at the next im meet up....but can u plz tell me whether its on the 11th or on 12th.....i wasnt sure....hey vinay if you can plz send me a sms on my cell....9891811390..so that i can also make it...it would be my first IM meet and would be glad to meet you people...i live in nizamuddin east so its just 10 min for me....so what time do we have to come...can i make it by 7 pm or will it be late by then....i am a lawyer and i can leave office only at 7 pm the earliest.....bye..hope to see u people tomorrow....

Well done Vinay for organising a great evening. It was great to meet you all and finally put some faces to the names on this site.

As a newcomer to Delhi and the first time I have been out for drinks in the evening here it was great to see Khan Market and the Habitat Cultural Centre and discover these places and great to have a good chat with great people.

Hope to meet up with you all again and I shall definitely be on for another IM Meet Up.

Glad you all had a good time.

a double regret for me for missing out yesterday's meeting.. Was looking forward to the IM meet, after the good time I had during the last meet in Jan. (which was incidentally my first one). I have also read good things about Turtle Cafe, and have been planning to go there for some time.. havent been even though I live 3-4 kms from Khan Market.

I mentioned in one of the posts.. that you could perhaps do another the next weekend.. I am almost certainly in town.. Wonder, if any others are game for another meet. I guess, would require, a more experienced IMer to organise and ensure a good participation.

Anyone keen for a meetup anytime between 23 and 27th April? I know it's early but if I leave it late it'll never happen

Thanks for making the last IM meetup a big success.
We started with Cafe Turtle, I was there at 6PM but mindia was there first and he didn't had any problems in finding me and the table. Next came in Kaushiks, and the conversation picked up the pace.
Then I got a call from Indianworker, that she is lost in Khan Market and everyone is pointing her ot a different direction (yes, try asking for directions). So I went out to meet her and bring her to Cafe.
Then there was a long wait for others, but we got so much into talking that time flew by. then came in Ashish straight from work and Harsha, who could not resist buying a book from the bookshop downstairs. We were there till 7.40PM and had to leave as the cafe was closing down.
Next Harsha and Kaushiks suggested we go to India Habitat Center and off we went to American Diner..there we were entertained with live song and dance performance from Rajasthan and UP (Brij) which we all enjoyed but had to move into the Diner as it was a private party, where we were not invited
more discussions with few beers and major topics were winters in Finland, Books, call center industry, cultural differences, property prices, why mumbai is better/bad, nightlife in Delhi/mumbai/banglore, safety issue concerning women travelers in India, house hunting in delhi, work place culture, Indian men holding hands.......
we finished after Indianworker had a stack on Banana pan cakes..and we diluted water/cola


Indianworker: Glad to know that you enjoyed and your first outing in Delhi was worthwhile. Hope you made it to your office in time next day will look forward to have you with us for the next meetup too.
mindia: Hmm...I hope you also enjoyed the evening and it was great having you with us. BTW, haven't sen you online since then, hope you are fine.
Harsha, Kaushik and Ashish, nice meeting you all and hope you all enjoyed.
I forgot to upload the pics on the weekend and today I don't have my camera with me now, will upload them in the night.
