Thats what i thought. Used to go to flames a long time ago but from what i have heard the general quality of the crowd has gone down and can be uncomfy for some.

Hi Everybody. I am now in NYC but will be arriving Delhi from South Africa on July 30th so on August 3rd date would be JUST WONDERFUL. Only been to one Indiamike meetup in San Francisco a couple of years ago and it was great. Really anxious to meet you Delhites as i will be living in Delhi for awhile. Oh, I did have the pleasure of meeting Nick in Chennai and going to a concert in December. Hey looking forward to more info about the meet up, can be anywhere as far as I am concerned as I can always get an autorickshaw to almost anywhere. I got more time than money!

thanks puchoo, I just rented a furnished room in Delhi for a month thru Craigslist, and will be looking for an apartment. Well, for how long? I got a 10 yr visa, yippee! but I guess I will just be smilin' and sleppin' thru India and Asia for awhile!

I have heard Piccadelhi is really sad...steeply priced and not worth it...but not sure..different people might have different views..

If you want to meet on 3rd August, then make sure you come on the thread and let us know by 20th July itself, so that members would have adequate time, and if something has already been arranged, we might move that to match the date you want.

@ elegbedebarbara : Welcome to Delhi, let us know where you are staying and someone might pick you up and drop you as well

Was in Flames (or is it Flame) yesterday evening, and found it be pretty Ok. The food was really good..

They also bill on per person basis, everyone pays for what he/she orders..unlike other places where they do it by the table...

I guess this would be a good thing, as lot of people want to leave early ..it would be a lot easier for the organizer..

17th May is what I am looking for...lot of commitments before that...social calendar is full for me...

So I am out of anything before 17th may as of now, however Shamik you need to post a date yourself and see who are available..

Why don't you put a date maybe tomorrow itself, and check the availability of the members ?

Unfortunately not !! Not as of now, this is happening because one of our members is coming from Dubai and she only has 17th for us..

Maybe you can contact Shamik (Darkside of the sun) and you guys can coordinate a meetup before that as well...
