New Delhi Meetups

As Shimla was tied-up in his work he was not able to make it and so was Vinay, The meet-up was still on as some of us had planned ourselves to be close to CP..the following people met and discussed what we have been doing over the months, I had missed the last two meet-ups so I had a lot to catch-up and I met Arun for the first time....

Since I couldn't start a new thread for the Delhi meetups, I'm adding to this old thread.

Next Delhi IM Meetup:

When: 11th March (Friday) 2005 [ or you want to change to Saturday 12th march?]

Where: Cafe Turtle, Khan market

Time: 6PM

Who all are in? Who wants to be kidnapped from office/home? comments/suggestion...
In recent past we have added few more Delhi IMers..would love to meet them all..not forgeting regulars and guests/IMers traveling through Delhi or in Delhi.

I would love to meet up with everyone as have just arrived in Delhi. I could probably do the 11th but 12th might be better for me. I work Monday to Saturday, 10am - 6pm so wouldn't be able to make 6pm but could probably meet you all a bit later.

Not sure where Cafe Turtle is but could make my way to Khan Market via rickshaw. My only knowledge of Delhi at the moment is North Delhi (Karol Bagh) where I am based. If I got a rickshaw and asked to be taken to Khan Market, would they know where to go and would I be able to find Cafe Turtle from there?

Sorry for being so vague but have not really had the chance to explore Delhi yet but would love to try and make the meet up to gain more friends.

For me 11th is better though I'm not certain if I'll be able to make it... but isn't it too much of a short notice for rest of IndiaMikers? I remember some of us missed out on the last Delhi meet in end Jan for the same reason. How about the next weekend [19th]? I can't make it on 12th as I'm going to be out of the city that day.

Indianworker, yes, just asked to be taken to Khan Market and you can look/ask for Cafe Turtle once you reach there. It should be around 50 min from Karol Bagh during that time.
