Don't tell me that INDIA owes you anything. It was there FIRST.
Yes, all set I guess. I'll drop Zoeper a reminder, maybe Indo can do the same.
A kind reminder too that Chickpea has pre-poned the final drop-in hour to 17:00 (still starting from 15:00). So, be there or be a lollipop. I assume the hour to confirm attendance or not is just about now anyway
Migrantuxo, next time, sure!

hi folks, sorry for the last minute but I am unable to make it on the 22nd.
I had planned for a head wobble competition - and win it but now you have to it without me
I'll see you on the next one.

I need your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle.
'Tis a great pity indeed as you should know, Indo, but, what can one do.
We'll be toasting to you no doubt!

Hey there,
Thank you all for the reminders!
This time I haven't forgotten about the meeting (eventhough my brain is very much like that of a goldfish, I remember things for like 3 seconds in general)
But still I feel awfull to have to let you know that I have to resign due too personal reasons.
I wish you all still a whole lot of fun and will do my absolute best to be there the next time!
Regards,
Zoeperman

Almost all will be attending in spirit; awesome menu!
Pity about Zoeper as well yes. Next time, folks! Hey, more food for us
Lugubert, Theyyam and I will be catching a subway & train (& bus...) there together, if you want to join us, PM me.
Hope you're not overstressing on the cooking by now, Chickpea, I'm much looking forward to it & am sure we'll just have a nice time.

Hi everyone, I am in Amsterdam!!!!! See you all tomorrow. I just sent you a PM, Mach.
Yes, firmly in touch
(Bloody rotten weather for you to be out though. Oh well. That's Dutch weather for you I guess. Quite the gale blowing for those who don't know what we're on about. I'm actually not un-fond of such weather myself, but it depends what one's up to no doubt.)

Thanks, Hans & Co.
Fun was had indeed I think, I'm looking back on another excellent afternoon and evening spent in great company with kind and interesting (and funny!) people.
Dinner was absolutely flabbergasting, all hail to Chickpea
The menu was pretty much as outlined above I think, great, great food
(and, as predicted, enough to feed a sizable orphanage for a few more weeks I guess
) So, saffron rice with plenty of spices and herbs, alu ghobi (I think Chickpea called it differently), saag, boiled eggs in a thick creamy curry sauce (called egg roast I think?), dal makhani + another kind of dhal, both served with limes on the side, home-made chapatis, (and hoping I'm not leaving anything out), all of them excellent, and a wonderful combination to boot.
With much chatter and as usual, time flew, enough to make Mr. & Mrs. Theyyam and I miss our first layover point to there so having to backtrack a little, and just making it in time for final connections back home
It's funny how with IndiaMikers, it's never like meeting "strangers," more like meeting old friends.
Well, thanks to all for your company, be safe on your further travels and doings, Lugubert as well, and as they say, we should do that again soon! & A special hi to Mr. Chickpea, Chickpea. Thank you both for your kind hospitality, and for an excellent meetup idea.
