Am currently in Bangalore and will be in Bombay city in the first week of August..

Would only be too glad to meet up on either of the dates (August 3rd or 4th) as suggested by you.. Or August 5th as also suggested..

The usual Mumbai Meets are at 7:00PM at Mysore Cafe (King's Circle) on Friday evenings - as it is a central location and on the way Home, after work, for most people. Mumbaikars don't like commuting South (towards City) on a Sat-Sun as they have suffered enough of that on work days during the week.

However, if any one has alternative Location suggestions, say in the Suburbs (Central or Western) ... can consider that, even for a Sat/Sun evening. Hope there not too many divergent views on Dates and Venue.

@solo_Trekker ... where will you be staying when in Mumbai?

PS: I stay in Thane and that obviously would be most convenient for me ... unless somebody objects saying it won't be a Mumbai Meet up then

I am tied up on both 4th & 5th Aug. Hence i suggested 3rd Friday. If majority prefer Sat please go ahead with Sat

I am in but will be arriving late by around 8. So probably will miss one round of rasam wada

Will firm up exact date/time/venue by Thu 2nd Aug ... lets wait till then for some more responses

Looking at the poor response so far I am dropping the idea of the 7PM Meetup at Mysore Cafe for tomorrow.

Instead Solo_Trekker (of this fame: http://bit.ly/QHQ8WS ) and I plan to meet at 4PM tomorrow (Sat, 4th Aug) at Alok Hotel, 2 minutes walk from Thane (W) Rly Station.
