Let's wait for replies from other member & then we will finalize a place. Please give your suggestions for place & whether all of you prefer half day (first half) or full day meet up.

18th March sounds fine to me ... will mostly attend; unless major clash develops. PS: Mid-March will be hot so maybe a good idea to get back home before noon? Unless another forest trek with good tree cover!

Outdoor meet up, two things are fixed
1] 18 th March, Sunday
2] First half only i.e. winding up before Noon because of the heat.
Regarding place
Menka has suggested we go flamingo watching since it's a good time to see the birds. Jatinshah is also ok with this. Others please give your inputs to finalize a place.

More negative answers then positive ones. Seems I have chosen the wrong date. Shall we postpone the meet up for a later date ? What do you say Amar, Jatin & Menka ?

Ronak, I won't be there on a weekend of 24th and 31st march. Any other time, I am OK, but for SGNP in summer heat....well, I am not too sure about it.
Any other alternatives available?
Of late, I haven't went for Paintball and Go Karting at Powai :P

Tungaareshwar Trail
Ronak, whatever date you finalize, we can consider the Tungaareshwar Trail from Tungaareashwar & back.
Climbing up takes...
1. 90 minutes on a broad jeepable track,
2. 15 mins thru dense undergrowth to the waterfall (i have taken a dip here even in May, so hopefully we should have enough water to swim) .......
3. 60 mins frolicking in the water, followed by eatup,
4. 15 mins back up to the broad track
5. 45 mins downhill to vehicles
Total 3 hours 45 mins or say 4 hours, 5 hours at worse.
Most of it is a jeep track, not possible to get diverted.
What say?
We trekkers do this in moonlight, preferably full-moon-light to escape the heat. Next full moon is on Friday 6th April. Thurs 5th April is a Bank holiday (Mahaaveer Jayanti) and Fri 6th is a Bank Holiday for Good Friday. Could we go on Thu night or Fri night or Sat night?
I am tempted to go on a long hike... four days of holidays..... lets see what happens .....
