Snonymous visit http://sites.google.com login with your gmail id and password. Making the page is similar to a word document. Do play around and am sure you will figure it out. By that time you will have KS's details

Very true. When we use the phone GPS nowadays, it is just for the instant reading, never for plotting.

Thanks KS. Blogger & WP are too complicated for me.

Thanks Amar. I did earlier after I saw your google sites page long back but its too complicated for me. Will make another serious effort after getting KS's easy to follow instructions.

#### Cross-posted with snonymous, will send simple instruction in any case! Yes, its that simple, I agree.
snonymous: If you just do that and play around with it for a day, by creating a 'trial' blog page you would have learnt most of it in just 1-2 days. If you face any 'hurdles' just note the points in a "Help Reqd list" and ask me on phone in a bunch so I can answer those. I will PM you phone numbers.

Hmmm, I see that a lot of discussion has taken place already about GPS! @snonymous, I too had switched off the GPS from my camera, for the very same reason mentioned by Amar, 'battery consumption'! I am told it drains the battery very fast.
But I am posting a photograph of a model placed outside the NIC, SGNP which I had taken 2 days prior to our trek. Slightly off the middle near the yellow line is the NIC office and I guess we climbed the hillock visible at the left hand side of the photograph - we touched the peak. I cannot make those circles and arrows etc...me too 'Computer idiot
'!

How did I miss this comment
?Thanks Amar! You just slipped, I tripped, I slid, I fell

, Each one of went thru that experience during the trek - yet we all had fun!! Hope your hamstring did not trouble you later! Get well soon, we may need to 'meet-up' again, snonymous wants another 'adventurous trek' to be organised
! Yeaaa, My home PC is up and running again.
Naveena, thanks for posting that model. Amar has kindly sent me the Google Earth print too.
And I also learnt that Amar wanted to attempt Mt. Everest but has postponed due to his injury. I am VERY IMPRESSED and hope that Amar can fulfil his dream soon.

Another outdoor meet up
After a successful outdoor meet up was thinking to plan one more outdoor meet up so that those who missed out on the SGNP trek can join in the fun. I am sure there will be many takers for the same. 18 th March seems to be a suitable date for me (since will be out of Mumbai on 4 th & on 11 th my niece & nephew will be coming from Surat). Please pour in with your suggestions on dates & venue. Was thinking of half day or may be a full day outdoor met up.
