Hi all. I did not introduce myself in my fisrt post but I do now. I am from Spain (Mojácar, Andalucía) and will be travelling around India this summer, on my own. As far as I have been reading India is not a "nice" place for beginners, so I guess it will not be "very comfortable" to spend two months in there.

I will arrive on July the 2nd and would like to meet people travelling to India by that date. Mumbai will be my first destination so... it's the right place to first meet up with somebody. I will be arriving very early in the morning and have the intention to take it easy (first time in India by the way, as I said before).

So if anybody is over there by that time or is landing those days and would like to have a coffee, a tea or a beer, talk about the trip, talk about the places to visit, please just do write in here. Of course, people living in Mumbai are more than very welcome!!!

My plan is to spend a couple of days in Mumbai and head north for a couple of months with no fixed plans. So any nice welcome is "welcome".

Well, everyone you hear from will have been a beginner there initially, so, no, don't worry about it too much

You can read around this website and others and guidebooks and so on to help you prepare some. But it really doesn't have to be a very difficult place. That's why many people stay so long and keep returning.

So -- enjoy your trip. & The meet-up
