Manali Meetups

Hi,

I'm in Manali right now. Anybody for meeting up in Manali ??
I'm staying at the Sunshine Guest House.
I'm driving to Rohtang tommorow, and would be driving back to Delhi on Wednesday.

How is the guest house Styler? I am planning to stay there in June.
Can you send any pic of interiors? I couldn't find any good interior pics in KulluKid's collection. Do you have any idea how good are Hadimba cottages?
Thanks a lot!

me and Manaly

I fouind manaly the worst place as I got sick emmediately of the terrible food. I had severe stomack problems and very nasty burning stomack acid. i really escaped to the rotang pass. and guess what during the trip to Rotang I got better.

I think manali is a big Rip off place.

It's an old place & the rooms are very large but basic, most rooms have an attached dressing room that then leads to the large bathrooms that have the best flushing western style toilets in India! There are two buildings with rooms, try & stay in the white one with the balcony, these are the better rooms.
Oh & try the homemade honey or apricot jam with your butter toast, yum yum!! KK

Hi Kullukid,

You did a perfect job on describing this place. I am in the white building, and in the balcony. I will try the home made honey and the apricot jam tommorow morning. I have been eating out at the tibetan kitchen and moondance cafe. Would you recommend any other good places to eat Kullukid..
Thanks for all your posts Kullukid, and i gave your (Robert's Reference) to Thakur Ji when i met him.

Regards,

As you are going from Manali towards old manali, this place is on the left, about 300 Mtrs before the Old Manali Bridge.

Hi Styler and KK,

Have a quick question for you guys.
Is that room is big enough for 3 adults, of course with an extra bed? Me and my parents. Just wondering if it would become too congested with 3 people.

Thanks a bunch!

The Tel No is 01902252320 or 236774 they don't put the address on their business cards but it's halfway along the road that joins new Manali to old Manali on the left past negis mayflower hotel & opposite pinewood hotel. You will see a large sign saying loghuts, it is here! KK
