So far it seems that the most popular date is 17th July and at a restaurant near to Southall station.

I can do the 25th, or in fact any time after that, but 11th and 17th are out. Sorry.

Not me I'm afraid; my lovely dukkha is coming to visit me in the UK for three days, and the 17th is one of them - we will be spending enough time wearing the M40 out as it is!

Would have responded before, but only just spotted that my name was on the list; for the Delhi meetups people usually add their own names to the list to confirm they can make it, that might work better than listing people who have said they want to come to a meetup and assuming they are free, just because they haven't said they're not. Which is a horrible sentence that doesn't make sense, but I'm sure you know what I mean.

I could make it if it was the 17th. Why don't those that can make it on 17th go ahead and meet and those that can make the 25th do so. I know it's better to have a bigger group but this would seem to be a good way round it. I would come with my husband - we are going t India for six months in October and it would be great to meet everyone and share some stories and tips etc even with a snaller group!

Would be a shame to split the group without making every effort to get it together. Just a thought, can everyone make it on Saturday 1st August?

Fridays might be difficult for those such as Karuna and myself; it would mean travelling for at least a few hours after doing a day's work.

It would a shame to split and it would be great to get as many as possible together in one place as we don't really meet up that often.

So, I'm up for 17th, 25th, or 1st.. It'll be good to see everyone again before summer ends.

Not sure if this would count as a full-blown meetup but I am planning to go to the

Indian Late event at the British Museum on the 17th July (this Friday)

and it would be cool to try to arrange a time for at least a coffee or chai on the evening if others are planning to attend.

OK I'm gonna throw this out there - I'll be spending 1 day in London on Friday September 4th before flying to Cairo the next day. Unfortunately I can't be more flexible then that, but would love a big IM meet-up to start my trip. Anyone interested?

Adding my preferred dates to the pot- Saturday 12th Sept. during the day (going to a gig in Islington eve).

Also planning a visit sometime mid August, before the bank holiday. As Haylo says, Saturdays are best for me.

Happy to do SMT's Sept 4th if others are (just a pain going back and forth weekend after weekend....but SMT is worth it!
