In Southall most probably! I have one more suggestion of a great place to eat in Southall, if that is still on the agenda for the Meet-Up, RITA's on the High Street. She does the best biryani. And it is only available on Fridays if I remember well.

When I last looked you could, yes --- the South Indian places in East Ham will give you a good meal for £5 and a dosa for £2 or £2.50.

That was a couple of years back, but I would be surprised if any price rises were enormous: these places are serving South Indians and Sri-Lankan Tamils mostly, not Westerners.

True. In general East Ham prices are indeed very inexpensive compared to the neighborhoods where I normally stay when in London.

Southall is super-convenient for me; just down the road from where I grew up. Actually took a bus down that way with mum last month and watched a Rasta have a loud argument with a Muslim street-evangelist. I love London.

Is moving it to this date ok with all? I'll be going to Southall next weekend so may be I can pick up a menu or two.
