I'll be the fading-brown-haired middle-aged confused-looking one.

Seems like we'll need our umbrellas, scarves and gloves. I've just put my heating on (shiver shiver).

I'll be easy to recognise, I'll be the one with the 6 foot tall rabbit called Harvey.

Seriously though, The Circle line isn't running and the District line isn't running from Earls Court to South Kensington (actually, Gloucester Road station is the closest station).

There seems to be a few people coming from the West, and likely to arrive at Paddington, so you'll have to get a Wimbledon train (District Line) to Earls Court, then a Piccadilly line train to Gloucester Road station. (Turn right and walk down Gloucester Road, then turn right at Old Brompton Road, about a 6 minute walk)

A better idea, when you get to Earls Court, go to the exit nearest the back of the train (Earls Court Road exit), go out of the station and cross the road (make sure you use your green cross code!), Catch a bus (number C1, every 9-12 minutes), it's only about 4 bus stops till the restaurant, the bus will go down Earls Court Road then turn left into Old Brompton Road, it's either the 2nd or third bus stop from there.

Make sure you buy a 1 day travelcard (about £5.50), a single journey on the Tube (if you don't have an oyster card) is £4, a bus is £2.

If a few of you are going to Paddington, you should meet and get a taxi, it will be cheaper.

A ha, you see, I'm getting the coach, which stops in Earls Court, so I won't have too far to go. I didn't plan that, it was just much cheaper.

Risk First Great Western trains? On a weekend? At that price? Not ruddy likely.

I'm quite geekily excited about this.

Do you know the area?

I doubt the coach would turn off Cromwell Road (the A4) and go down Earls Court Road, it will likely just drop you at a bus stop on Cromwell Road, have a look at bus stops where you get dropped off and see if the C1 bus calls at any of the stops, if not, look for Earls Court Road.

To be honest, if it's not raining, and if you like walking, it would only take about 25 minutes to walk from Cromwell Road to the restaurant (down Earls Court Road, turn left at Old Brompton Road).

As I recall it is Earls Court Road it stops in, but I've only done the journey 2 or so times before, and then a few years back, so I might be wrong. Thanks for the info- between that and Google Maps I shouldn't go too wrong. I hope.

Oh, and I'm enormous, speccy and brunette. Brown top with sequins.

Google Maps can be great, and can be poor, I've used them a couple of times and was once nearly a mile out.

according to the map on the restaurant's website, the restaurant is near the bottom of Bina Gardens, SW5.

Sorry guys I haven't been online.. Nearest stop is Gloucester Road Tube, take a right when you come out of the station and keep waliking for about 10 mins.. take a right again at second traffic light onto Old Brompton Road, place an order for your Mesarati or your Ferrari when you pass their Garage and Star Of India in on your right.
