Hey I have suggestion of two placed..

1) High end, The Star of India where TV Celebraty Chef Reza Mahammad is patron. (Delhi Belly, Place in France, and most Cooking programs). I can arrange set Menu for around £25 per head, plus drinks.

2) Shakoni vegetarian restaurant on Ealing Road in Wembley. Normally works out around £10 - £15 per head.

I thought may be near the end of March some time..

Come on guys, reading through IM, it has been a long while since we had a meet this part of the World..

Anyone suggest any dates?

5th of April, please? Both suggestions of restaurants seem good! - I'd go for Star of India, but it may dissuade people with a more limited budget... Didn't someone propose Covent Garden area?

Hi! My girls and I will be in London from March 13 to March 27. Anyone fancy a meet-up during that time?

Failing that, we'll just have to organise something here in Dublin.....

I'm a West Londoner and would be very much interested. However I leave on the 13th March for India (woohoo) and am back on the 24th March.

Otherwise, only date that I can think of that won't work for me is 30th March.

Sorry guys.. I have been away from this thread for few weeks.. Work and all that..

I have spoken to Start and can organise a great menu.. I'm suggesting 18th, 19th or 20th April.. How many people can we gather together? Lets have a great drink or two and a great dinner and an Indian debate.. I would love to make this London Meetup come true.. Is any of these dates good for you guys?

Lets do it.. It's about time we had a London Meet..

I can make mid afternoon on the Saturday (19th), say 15:00.

However, I'm only 80% sure of that, and if overtime came my way, I'd have to miss the meet-up, I can't make the Friday or Sunday.

If the Friday or the Sunday was the best day for others, that's OK, as I can't guarantee turning up on the Saturday.

Afternoon meet up would be great.. And Saturday would be fantastic for me also. However, we need to meet up for lunch at noon as they stop serving at 3pm.. So guys.. Saturday 19th, meet up at Star of India in South Kensington, SW5? Please please please lets do it.

I may just be able to make 12, but 13:00 would be a lot better for me.

I hope jeans are OK, I don't do dressing-up these days and I will be coming from work, thankfully, the work will be very near South Ken.
