Kolkata Meetups

We had a great meetup with 12 participants. All those who missed it, hope you can join the next time. The venue was the same as the last meetup - 1st Floor of Aminia. There were lots of food - kebabs, biryanis, mutton chaps........ And lots of discussions about the travel plans of participants.

It was a big meetup in Kolkata after a long time. Thanks to Kaushik who drag me to Esplanade from my office

good to see again we have some good number of enthusiast IMers in Kolkata.

BTW, Kaushik, remember I was talking about another meetup ? this one is not merged in this thrd, I think.

I had been following the plan for the meet up and really wanted to attend. However as I stay out of Kolkata I could not make it. However the photos are great and it was nice to see the "Barano pagoler dal" get together.

It was all our pleasure. Definitely more meetups are called for at certain intervals. And the more the merrier. But going through the Delhi Meetup Forum it is realised that a bigger space and a bigger table will be more appropriate if more participants are to join and that is only expected.

Somenath Biswas it would have been nice if you could stay longer and had dinner with us. You had taken the pain to reach the venue before any of us did and the print-out was also very effective in locating the table.

Kamalaprosad, could you get Mashima to see the photos ?

Perhaps a post Puja Holidays meet up where we can share our puja travel photos, experiences etc.....???

Great idea Santanu & Akarn_navokas. We will do another meetups post Puja in a spacious place. Request all members to find out a place where we can meet next time, hopefully with more number.

I would suggest Tung Fung on Park Street (opp Music World). Good food, economical and spacious. Meets all our criteria

Also, lets consider a weekend afternoon - if possible.

Good suggestion Kaushiks. Weekend, you mean Saturday? We can also consider BAR B Q. Their Chinese is excellent.

Tourist 1 looking forward to you being one of the "Barano pagoler dal" in the next meet after Pujo. If its on a weekend afternoon as suggested, hope it won't be a problem for you.

Tung Fong is a good suggestion, we can definitely try that. Saturday week ends are generally okay, unless something unforeseen comes up.
