OK guys and gals, now that you have digested yesterday's meet-up, how about the next one: around the 10th, 11th, or 12th March? So far, Somnath, yes I think. Anyone else? Usual suspects?

anondo!
Let's see who else; Nayan, pick the date that suits you. Is the previously mentioned venue a good idea? I mean Aminia, near to New Market. Looking at the dates again, perhaps the 12th would in fact be better since Holi will be well and truly over by then... |

Any problem on pre Holi. 10th is looking good. As it is Tuesday, I hope it will better if we meet on the same venue post 7 pm. 11th is a holiday (Holi). I hope, even late night 'Adda' on the eve of holiday is acceptable to all. Somnath, your call on this please.

So far then it looks like, probably the 10th (Tuesday) - eve of Holi - after 7 p.m. and attending would be
Nayan Somnath Biswas Somnath (to be confirmed) T-dancer (+ Mr T-dancer) possible venue would be Aminia for yummy food + adda ![]() Let's see who else can join in. |

Go a bit early to Aminia, their speciality Mutton Champ gets sold out quickly.
I was told that a cafe cum restaurant has come up on Ho Chi Min Sarani which is exclusively dedicated to Tagore cuisine. Did any Kolkatan visit this place? Have a grand meet up. |

Tagore Cuisine
The Thakurbari was also known for its kitchen. Ladies of Thakur household had very innovative ideas and their kitchen did produce some excellent preparations. There is a cook book named "Thakur barir Ranna" I don't remember who wrote that.
Rabindranath loved travelling and made it a point to try local cuisine. This cafe that I mentioned serves Thakur's favourite dishes and play soft Rabindra sangeet. |
