Kolkata Meetups

Hi Somnath,

Thanks for the warm welcome. Actually my plans have changed and now I will be in Kolkata from 29th May to 04th May. So a meet up during that period will be great. Kolkata isnt new to me as my Maama Badi is there but yes I am going after 7 years so its pretty long time.

You can also tell me the places where I can take my teenage son to show around.

Hi Kolkata IMers,
I belive we all know that Travel & Tourism Fair is going on at Netajee Indoor stadium. Today’s newspaper says it is a good event. Actually October is the season for us and this is the time for planning and all….. IM member - Rongon just called me to ask for a visit to TTF tomorrow. Hey, not a bad idea. So if anyone is free what about a meet at around 2.30 pm?

Though this TTF is not the bigger one but it is arranged by the ABP group.....so we may expect some realy good stuff there.
Any one else.....?? where r u people.....lets join....just think....U r walking down the road side through Kolkata maidan while chewing the specially made spicey mixed puffed rice from a packet called 'Thonga'....little bit driziling is going on....no scope to see the Sun....but inspite of every thing U r in seventh heven by thinking that now U r loitering over the sand-dune of Jayshalmir.
And this very time....other IM members r trying to keep U among us by calling Ur name loudly....U suddenly realise...U r in Kolkata and shaping up for the Somnath proposed meet-ups....so....Hurry Up folks!!

Hey Rongon “Thonga” will not be sufficient. You must try some ‘Puriya’

for this hallucination. BTW, plz explain puriya and upload those pix before you caught by another Puriya..

Why don't we organize a Kolkata Meetups, with slide show and some snacks. I can organize a hall if participants are good in number.

Aminia is permenantly connected with Kolkata meet ups and why not?

Only coming winter will see me in Kolkata. Meet up on a boat in the mellow sun shine of a winter afternoon drifting on the lazy river would be great and of course after that an adda at the New Cathay bar and then Aminia.

Once we raided Ganguram at midnight after bolstering ourselves at Aminia.
