We will be in Kolkata on 3rd March if the meet up happens again next month. Only staying for 3 days, but maybe passing through again after Sikkim.

Since there is no fixed calendar for meetups, please announce your date / plans for Kolkata so that Kolkata IMers can try to arrange one.

Well, I am clueless, we know there is an iron tonic / caps called “Livogen” but do you think it is really related with this unknown yet very delicious item? He he…..
Me, Rongon and Jyoti da - we had a lovely meet in Kolkata once again. We went to Handicraft expo where Jyoti da purchased some items. And then our old meetup place – Silver Sand.

I am sorry I couldn’t send PMs due to my tight schedule but there was no response in this thread….. may be some of our members are on vacation. Hey …… may be ‘next meet’.

Thank you Somnath & Rongon for the wonderful evening. My daughter enjoyed the chat we had at the pub too. Yes I will soon post the pictures.
The fish Livo Gin dish requires further academic research.
The handicrafts fair was fantastic and the cane lantern that I bought survived the plane ride back to Delhi and will soon be installed.

Dontstop, under "thread tools" at top of page, you can "subscribe" to a thread. In your personal settings (there are several ways to get there, but click your own name where it says 'Welcome X!" on top right of page, or go through "Quick Links") you can set your account to receive email notification of updates to threads you're subscribed to. This can also be done for individual threads I believe, but I can't think of how right now, maybe under your personal settings again.*

Anyway bottom line: It's up to you to organize this, not to other posters. You'll figure it out I'm sure. The alternative is to just keep a regular eye on this thread. And no, personally I wouldn't want to be emailed about every addition to a thread I've responded to in a distant past, but that's up to users themselves.

* Checking: You get this option while subscribing to a thread. If you haven't in the past and you want to now, you can unsubscribe in the same menu, then re-subscribe using that option.
