I am DYING to meet expats living here in Srinagar. I spend about 6 months here every year. I have been coming here for three years and i haven't met a soul...except for husband's family of course. I am slowly losing my mind

Anybody interested in a meet-up?

Salam aleikum, Salam! I havenīt checked in on this forum for ages, nice to "see a new face", so to speak, on this thread. I was in Kashmir for Eid and stayed for a month with my husband and kids. It was my first visit in over two years since I left the valley during the summer turmoil of 2010. Now we are settling in India again, and after spending the winter in the south we are planning to go back to Kashmir in the spring. Please let me know when you are back in Kashmir, I would like to meat you, I desperately need to meet people outside of my husbands family, too.

So happy you and I connected on FB but I need to be a regular IM'er again too. What in the world happened to SunnyKashmir, I see his account is "closed"??!!! He kept this forum alive!
