Welcome to this group.. I was in India till Sept end and did try to do some meetups.. could manage to meet only 2 and hopefully the count improves next year..

If you are thinking to have a mega gathering in Hyd.. let me advise you earlier that you would be disappointed.. so begin to think of achiving smaller meetings and gradually it should improve.. VSP and Lifeisjourney would agree with me.

Good luck.. i will be there next year and will catch up then..

Hi Vandy,
Although Hyderabad & Biriyani are unseparable but I had eaten Biriyan too many times at various eateries so would like to eat things other than Biriyani, may be a succulent tounge !!!!

Try at Shadaab, they have brain too. Further up near Shahran hotel near Charminar, kababs. Not sure if it's still there but AP Fisheries Canteen near Boats Club (Hyderabad side of Tankbund) used to have great fish biryani and steamed fish in tangy gravy, sometimes if you are in luck, gravy with tamarind blossoms.

If you can wake up early, very early, some 'Irani'hotels may make some off the menu gurda kaleja stirfry with hot roti as a special order for you!

Thank you so much Hyderabadi bhai as usual you have come up with great suggestion, I had been to Shadaab last time but ate only Biriyani so this time it will definitely be the tounge & brain.
