Yes, multiple times in Bengaluru. Nice place, but the food is frankly just decent, but not bad either.

How has your exp in gurgaon been?

You can go there couple of times...after that it gets boring as the menu is same.

Guys...enjoy the meetup...I will surely miss this one.

I'm out too. The kids have some Robotic Olympiad in Delhi - both Saturday and Sunday.
Sigh - the things we do for our kids!

Labrol: Galaxy hotel is a nice choice but since the meetup is in the day time, lets keep it at a normal, easy to get to and not very expensive place. Home and Farmhouse is completely rulled out. I'm thinking more on the lines of Bikanerwala (near Crowne Plaza), or Haldiram (at MGF Metropolitan/Sahara mall), or even Rajdhani the rajasthani/Gujrati thali place (I always over eat there).
If everyone is okay to shell out a bit more than..Drift at Epicenter is also good with their All day American breakfast and Mediterranean food..
we're open to suggestions, but the the criteria would be:
1. Relaxed (where we can talk)
2. Easy to find and reach
3. Not in a deserted area
4. Not too expensive

I am new in Gurgaon and it is my very first time here in India. I would like to meet some new people and heard about your Meetups. I would like to join the next Gurgaon meet up. Are there any prerequisites? What do I have to expect?

Would like to come to the Gurgaon meet up but will confirm closer to the time. Somewhere with access to a cold beer would def be good (but a cold fresh lime soda will also be fine).

My suggestions:
Let's keep it Haldirams at Sahara mall - on the first floor, one is never bothered and it can't get too loud.

That place has enough variety and space.

As for the beer, umm - beats me!

Xanaba: There are no pre-requisites..if you wanna join please drop in..
the idea behind the IMmeetup is: "lets meet some indians who are not after your money and are there to help you with India"...and you'd be surprised that IM India and Gurgaon/Delhi members includes doctors, computer professionals, homemakers, engineers, and more..with wealth of information about India..
I'm sure you won't feel out of place..

How about Tc earlier known as Thai and Chinese cafe?

On a different note, how come you guys aren't trying Turquoise Cottage (erstwhile Chinese & Thai Cafe at JMD) - they have a decent Sunday Brunch at 299 plus taxes (includes a pint of beer). Crowd is decent & you have this guy strumming away & singing the oldies..........
