It looks like most people who've replied to this post would be around on 30th Dec. If the peacock pub is as shabby as GoanCanuck says, does someone want to suggest an alternative venue? I don't know Goa (yet!) so can't suggest anywhere!

Will be in Goa from the 4st to the 16th Dec then the 20th Dec to the 2nd of Jan

It will be our first time in Goa so would love to meet some of you.

i never had a problem with ken or jackie johnson who own the peacock pub,neither did my family and friends who came over last year,still no big deal plenty of other places.nice bar and restaurant just around the corner from peacock called moonlight bar,opp avo maria beach resort run by santana and his wife theresa,in fact this bar was a hang out last year for many ex-pats.should anyone prefare galangute or baga no problem,lets just agree a time and place.

guess the ideal place for meet up could be lazy days bar in baga opposite colonia santa maria resort.expats and holiday makers meet there every wednesday throughout the season so thats were i will be,hope to see you all there.
