A strange (but serious) question for me, how do I go about getting the cheap tickets for trains to Penzance?

Is it Great Western that runs trains from Paddington these days?

I'd still prefer just before or just after the weekend, and I'd still prefer to tea to booze, but hey! I'm not really quibling and it would be great to meet Steven as I always seem to miss the London meets. (London meet in August, Steven?)

If things go according to plan I will be camping up (not Little Britain style) in Wales about the time of your meet-up. I've never been to Penzance, so some other time maybe!

Sorry people, I'll have to miss this meet-up.

I took my motorbike (full) test today and failed, my 3.5 days training were very useful, but not enough to get rid of 7 months worth of courier bad habits.

I've now got to concentrate hard on passing the test in a couple of weeks, but it's gonna cost me £150 to hire a 125 cc for a week to iron out all the mistakes that I made, then £210 for a further day and a half to transfer those improvements to a 500 cc bike and to re-take my test.

I would have argued with the examiner that doing a wheelie in the wrong direction down the M11 wasn't technically against the rules, but he said I'd have failed even without that skilful manoeuvre.
